For medical directors and supervising physicians

See what you are accountable for, before someone asks.

Regulators in places such as Quebec and Ontario describe a documented evaluation, an individual plan and a clear record for every patient, with the supervising physician’s role visible. ClinicJourney is designed to put the plans, sign-offs and records you are responsible for in one place.

Dr Laurent, the medical director, reviews a treatment plan on her laptop before signing it off.

What we heard.

Drawn from public reviews, job descriptions and practitioner writing about aesthetic clinics. Not quotes from ClinicJourney users.

  1. Accountability without visibility.

You are responsible for evaluations, directives and records in a clinic you are not always physically in.

  2. Sign-off arrives as a pile.

Forms to sign come in batches, out of order, without the context of the plan.

  3. Rules are changing.

In Ontario, the CPSO describes expectations for medical directors of cosmetic clinics, including assessing new patients before delegating or within two business days unless an exception applies. In Quebec, a physician must evaluate each patient and set an individual plan before injections.

Plans waiting for you, with the context to decide.

When your protocol requires your sign-off, the plan comes to you with the assessment, the questionnaire answers marked for review and the baseline photos. Your sign-off, or your note, goes on the record with the time.

Questions you will ask us.

Answered as honestly as we can today.

Does ClinicJourney make or suggest clinical decisions?

No. It records the plan the practitioner decided and routes it to the people your protocol names. It does not recommend treatments, calculate doses, analyse photos or check contraindications.

Can the sign-off rules match our directives?

The design lets a clinic decide which plans need a medical director’s sign-off before booking. How finely those rules can be set is to be confirmed. Tell us how your directives work.

Will this make us compliant with CPSO, CMQ or other rules?

No software can make a clinic compliant. Compliance depends on what your clinicians do. ClinicJourney is designed to make the record of what they did clear and complete.
